All Barber Dimes are struck in a composition of 90% silver and 10% copper, with a standard weight of 2.50 grams and diameter of 17.9 mm. During the series, circulating coins were struck at Philadelphia, Denver, New Orleans, and San Francisco. The Philadelphia issues to not carry a mint mark. The remaining issues have the mint mark placed on the reverse of the coin, below the wreath.
